Declan Hayden is a drummer, percussionist, & educator based in Brooklyn, NY. He was a full-time cast member of the North American Tour of STOMP from 2021-2024, but has performed in a wide variety of other contexts in recent years, including Art Bath NYC, EMAS Kansas City, the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, and the Springfield Symphony Orchestra.
Recently, Declan has also presented guest lectures at the New York University Broadway Percussion Seminar, the University of South Florida, Western Oregon University, and High Point University. In past years, Declan taught young students extensively throughout the state of Ohio, working with young musicians in seven school districts and four independent music education organizations.
Declan studied Percussion and Music Education at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music under Rusty Burge and Jim Culley. As a student, he performed at PASIC and SICPP.
